Mi India News: Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi is all set to launch Mi TV 5 series in China alongside the Mi CC9 Pro. A couple of months ago Xiaomi has launched the Mi TV 4 series. With this Series, Xiaomi is ready to compete with OnePlus TV that was launched some days before. The company has already in the number 1 position in China with its smart TV category.
Ahead of the official launch, the company revealed some details of the upcoming Mi TV 5 Series. Xiaomi has just confirmed the new TV Series will be powered by a 12nm T972 chipset and support up to 8k video recording. Also claimed the new 12nm chipset is more 63% more powerful than the previous generation chipsets. It will pack 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage.
Xiaomi confirmed that the new Mi TV 5 Series will offer better multimedia and viewing experience as it sports a Samsung 4K QLED panel. This new TV lineup will be the first to support the QLED panel. That we haven’t seen before in any Xiaomi branded TV. This 4K QLED Samsung Quantum Dot Panel supports NTSC 108% wide color gamut.
The company shared some images of its upcoming Mi TV 5 Series that shows the slim body of this series lineup. It is cleared that the new TV Series will be the slimmest than the previous Xiaomi TV. The teaser photo gives us a glimpse that shows the right side where we can see the “Designed by Mi” logo. For now, there are not more details of the TV 5 Series.
