Mi India: Xiaomi already launched the Redmi Note 8 & Redmi Note 8 Pro in India in October. Now the company in Taiwan launched a new colour variant of Redmi Note 8 Pro that is Deep Sea Blue. This smartphone was first announced in China. Except for the colour difference the rest of the specifications, features, and even the pricing are the same. It is a mid-range smartphone though it offers relatively high specifications.
Redmi Note 8 Pro Price
The new Deep Sea Blue colour version comes in two storage variants. The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model is priced at TWD 6,599 (approximately 15,400 INR). For the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, it is priced at NTD 7,599 (approximately 17,700 INR). There are no details if the device will launch in India or other markets. Apart from the Deep Sea Blue colour the device is listed in other colour options include Gamma Green, Halo White, and Shadow Black shades.
Redmi Note 8 Pro specifications
This device is the higher version than Redmi Note 8. It comes with a MediaTek newly launched Helio G90T gaming processor with up to 6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB memory. It has a 6.53-inch full HD+ resolution waterdrop display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 support. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie and upgradable to Android 10 in the future.
The smartphone has a quad-camera set up on the back. The primary camera is a 64MP ISOCELL shooter with f/1.9 aperture, the secondary camera is 8-megapixel and two 2-megapixel cameras. For the selfies, there is a 20-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone packed with a 4500mAh battery for long gaming and supports 18W fast charging.
Except for the 128GB storage the phone also has a dedicated microSD card slot. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack.
