Mi India: After various tweets and leaks Xiaomi India officially unveiled the new Redmi Series smartphones in India on Thursday that are called Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, Xiaomi canceled the on-ground event for 2000 people and host an online event on March 12 in India. Most of the specifications are the same in these two phones. Specifications and features
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch full HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 and supports Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC with ADRENO 618 GPU and comes with two storage variants 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. Storage is expandable via a dedicated microSD slot up to 512GB.
The device runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top. It comes with four cameras on the backside. That includes 48-Megapixel primary camera, an 8-Megapixel secondary camera, 5-Megapixel macro lens, and a 2-Megapixel depth sensor. There is a 16-Megapixel selfie camera at the front. The smartphone is loaded with a 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Redmi Note 9 Pro price in India
The device price in India has been set for 12,999 for the 4GB + 64GB version and 15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB version. It will go on sale from March 17 through Mi.com, Mi Home Stores and Amazon India. The device will be available in 3 color options Glacier White, Interstellar Black, and Aurora Blue.
