Mi India News: Xiaomi is working on a smartwatch for some time. Now the company has teased its first smartwatch that is set for the launch date in China on November 5. Next week Xiaomi will launch Mi CC9 Pro smartphone, Mi TV 5 series, and new Xiaomi Smartwatch. The company shows the smartwatch to the world that is lookalike Apple watch. It is expected that Xiaomi’s Mijia brand is the manufacturer of this Xiaomi smartwatch.
The company CEO Lei Jun posts an image of this smartwatch on Weibo. The image shows the Black and Silver color of the smartwatch. As seen in the image it is sporting a 3D curved design on the front as well as all sides are the same as Apple watch. The smartwatch has a square display, a button, and a digital crown on the right. Additionally Mijia brand has posted an image on Weibo that shows another angle of the Xiaomi smartwatch.
Mijia brand’s posts show the thickness, power button, microphone, and a digital crown on the right side. Xiaomi smartwatch display text specifies that it will have cellular connectivity for internet access and an eSIM support. The renders also include the new Xiaomi’s smartwatch has NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, Speaker, Bluetooth, and a battery. It is powered by a Qualcomm chipset 3100 series. It is run on the latest version of MIUI.
There is no word for the price. But Xiaomi will keep its price-competitive because of Samsung’s watch and Apple watch. If the Xiaomi Smartwatch price will be lower than Apple and Samsung then it will be a competitive device from the company. Also, it can support 4G LTE like Galaxy Watch LTE.
